Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager with 5–10 years of experience in the automotive industry to lead and manage product development projects from concept to production. The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills, experience with APQP processes, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams while ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate product development projects in line with APQP requirements.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and customer expectations.
Act as the primary interface between customers and internal cross-functional teams.
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to achieve project objectives.
Manage prototype builds, engineering changes, product releases, and project milestones.
Monitor project KPIs and ensure adherence to quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Conduct project reviews, customer meetings, and management presentations.
Support risk management activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.
Preferred Certifications
PMP Certification
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
