Job Description

Senior Data Scientist to lead the delivery of real-world AI solutions across industries like insurance and automotive. You’ll drive end-to-end ML development—from scalable pipelines to production deployment—while mentoring teammates and collaborating with enterprise partners to deliver business impact.
Your impact

Architect Solutions: Design and optimise scalable ML systems, focusing on computer vision and NLP/LLM applications

Build & Deploy Models: Develop and productionise deep learning models using Python and modern ML frameworks

Lead Cross-Functionally: Align research, engineering, and product goals through hands-on leadership

Mentor & Guide: Support junior team members and promote best practices in ML development

Engage Customers: Collaborate directly with enterprise clients to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions

Drive Innovation: Evaluate and implement new AI tools and methodologies to enhance performance and scalability

What you’ll need to be successful

Applied AI Expertise: 5+ years building ML systems, especially in computer vision or NLP/LLM

Strong Python & ML Skills: Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow)

Production Experience: Hands-on experience deploying ML models in production environments

Cloud & Data Engineering: Knowledge of cloud platforms (ideally AWS) and scalable data pipelines

Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work across teams and communicate complex ideas clearly

Problem-Solving Mindset: Analytical thinking and a focus on continuous improvement

Preferred experience

Industry Impact: Experience applying AI in insurance, automotive, or similar sectors

LLM/NLP Expertise: Background in large language models or conversational AI

Scalable Product Delivery: Proven success scaling ML solutions in production

Leadership: Track record of mentorship and technical leadership in data science teams
