PHP Developer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Manage back-end services and ensure smooth data interchange between server and users.
• Develop and maintain all server-side logic and central database structures.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and responsiveness for front-end requests.
• Work with PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter, Laravel, Magento, etc.
• Develop or maintain applications using WordPress, CodeIgniter/Laravel, or at least one PHP MVC
framework.
• Work with APIs for integration and data exchange.
• Demonstrate proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.
• Collaborate effectively within the team and communicate clearly.
• Handle assigned projects independently with accountability.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (B.Tech) or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in PHP development, preferably using CodeIgniter or Laravel.
• Ability to develop applications from scratch and update/optimize existing systems.
• Strong willingness to learn and improve in areas such as code structuring, database design,
algorithms, and data structures.
• Capability for both structured thinking and creative problem-solving.
• Attention to detail with patience to debug complex code issues.
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle—from requirement analysis to product
maintenance.
• Familiarity with development methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, etc.
• Basic understanding of testing levels (Unit, Integration, System Testing).
• Ability to provide production support including troubleshooting, debugging, and data validation
