Job Tite: Non-Functional Tester [Banking Domain]

Role Name: Quality Automation Specialist
Experience- 3-6 years
Location- Gurgaon

Role Overview:
The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring performance of the application with quality attributes that defines Performance, Scalability, Security, Usability and Reliability. The Non-Functional Tester should have hands-on experience in performance testing tools, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and Analyze non-functional requirements for banking relevant applications.
• Identify and Conduct the key metrics validations such as Load, Stress, Soak
• Design, Develop and Execute Performance test scenarios considering real-world banking workloads
• Create and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter
• Monitor application performance using APM tools and identify bottleneck across Application servers, Database Layers, Network and Middleware components.
• Work with DB teams to validate query performance and optimize SQL (wherever required)
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
• Prepare test summary reports, performance dashboards/metrics and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
Preferred Skills:
• Basic scripting knowledge in JAVA, C Programming.
• Should have strong knowledge in SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Should have working experience with Git, Jenkins, or any other CI/CD tools.
• Should have exposure to Performance tools like Load Runner, Silk Performer, Soap UI.
• Should have hands-on in monitoring tools like DX-APM, App Dynamics.
• Should have knowledge in Citrix protocols, Web HTTP/HTML protocols, Oracle NCA protocols.
• Understanding of banking compliance, security policies, transaction flows.
• Should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional /Agile/Scrum teams.
• Exposure to Cloud environments (AWS/Azure) can be an added advantage.
