SAP Hybris Developer | | Permanent Role
Work Location: Bangalore
Hire Type: Permanent
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days
Experience: 5 – 7 Years

Role Summary / Purpose
• Platform Focus: Designing, developing, and maintaining SAP Hybris (SAP Commerce Cloud) e-commerce solutions, with a strong focus on B2B/B2C functionalities and global rollouts.
• Goal: Build a “best-in-class” customer shopping experience with a focus on high-quality code and user-centric features.
• Global Scope: Supporting the expansion of the platform across more than 25 countries.

Essential Responsibilities
• Development & Customization: Coding, debugging, and maintaining complex e-commerce features within the SAP Commerce Cloud suite.
• Technical Design: Preparing low-level design documents, implementing customized extensions, and developing custom CMS components.
• Integration: Integrating Hybris with third-party systems, particularly SAP ERP.
• Performance & Quality: Optimizing site performance, managing Solr search customization, and ensuring high availability.
• Support & Testing: Conducting unit tests, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), closing defects on time, and providing production support.
• Collaboration: Working in an Agile/Scrum environment with product owners, architects, and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: Generally requires 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong, hands-on experience in SAP Hybris Commerce.
🔹 Technical Skills:
o Core Java & J2EE: Strong proficiency is essential.
o SAP Commerce Modules: Deep knowledge of PCM (Product Content Management), Order Management, WCMS, and Backoffice.
o Frameworks: Spring Framework (Security, MVC).
o Frontend Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
o Data Handling: Experience with ImpEx, Data Hub, and SQL.
Tools: Experience with Git, Jenkins, and development tools like IntelliJ or Eclipse.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.

Desired Skills
• Hybris Certification: SAP Commerce Cloud certification is highly preferred.
• New Technologies: Knowledge of Spartacus (Angular-based storefront), Rule Engine, and Promotion Engine.
• Tools: Familiarity with Dynatrace or Kibana for performance monitoring.
• Methodologies: Strong experience with Agile/Scrum.
