Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune for an Azure HPC Architect. The successful candidate is responsible for designing and deploying high-performance computing (HPC) applications and services using Azure. They should have experience in analyzing existing HPC environments, architecture, and workloads to design and implement scalable, optimized, and efficient solutions. The Azure HPC Architect will also have experience in creating, configuring, deploying, and scaling HPC workloads and management of technical teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HPC architecture, design, and deployment in Azure
- Proficient in HPC workloads, Azure HPC features, and HPC workload management tools
- Strong knowledge of Networking, Operating Systems, and Virtualization technology
- Experience with batch job scheduling, resource management, and parallel file systems (PFS)
- Proven ability to design, deliver, and maintain highly scalable HPC systems and services
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Azure certification in HPC (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure HPC Engineer Associate) is a plus
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence on Azure for HPC is a plus
Mandatory Skills
- Experience in designing and implementing HPC solutions with software like HT Condor, Azure Cycle Cloud
- Extensively worked on docker / kubernetes, must have exposure to Azure services (AKS, Cloud native services)
- Knowledge and experience in full stack application development - microservices architecture, react/angular, node.js, sql/no-sql databases
- Linux / Ubuntu, shell / bash scripting
