QA Automation testing
Experience- 7 to 10 yrs
Location- Bengaluru
Key Responsibilities:
Years of Exp:7-10 Years
* Design and implement scalable API automation frameworks using Java, Rest Assured, and Cucumber.
* Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
* Develop and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing of APIs.
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
* Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.
* Ensure test coverage and traceability of requirements.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation.
* Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Required Skills:
* Strong proficiency in Java (8 or above).
* Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API testing.
* Expertise in Cucumber and BDD frameworks.
* Experience with JSON, XML, and API schema validation.
* Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, or similar API tools.
* Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.
* Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, RESTful services, and OAuth2/JWT.
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
