PowerBI Data Analyst (Location : Trichy)

Job Description

INFOC is seeking a skilled PowerBI Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with expert-level proficiency in PowerBI. This role involves transforming data into actionable insights that will drive strategic decisions and improve business outcomes. The PowerBI Data Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and deliver compelling visualizations and dashboards that tell the story behind the numbers.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports that provide insightful and actionable analytics across various business units.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data analysis needs and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into PowerBI, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
Implement data modeling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques to improve the quality and effectiveness of data analysis.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and present findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly and understandably.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics and PowerBI capabilities to continuously improve data analysis processes and tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role, with a strong focus on PowerBI.
Proficient in PowerBI, including data modeling, DAX, and custom visuals.
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database technologies.
Experience with data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for all levels of the organization
