java based mulesoft, microservices based architecture hosted within cloudbased architecture getting the high-level business requirements from lucid chart/visio to then design API specs
must know web technologies, deal with websites (apache, serverless architecture with AWS or Azure, some front-end with react/angular and how they connect to the back end/data sources)
mulesoft is nice but isn’t required; he’s open to other process flow microservices frameworks (i.e. springboot) need to understand how the infrastructure works to support the best solutions in either serverless, back-end, file dumps
manager has a high preference for anyone that has experience with web/mobile apps, API integration (any type), and cloud experience.
If they don’t have web/mobile app experience they won’t be a fit will not be required to code but need to be fresh enough to do a PoC any coding experience is needed; doesn’t matter what language
will need to be on-site 4 days a week – NO FLEX
flexible hours, but typically 9-4; can arrive or leave earlier depending on the day definition of success spectacular logic & reasoning skills jump in and develop the logic to support
this has been the biggest roadblock minor hand holding industry background doesn’t really matter but would like to see someone with e-com or restaurant experience to make life easier
wouldn’t need to do any code reviews – the tech leads are responsible for that
conversion salary: 150-170K
interview process: immediately 1st round with fedil/romeo francis (enterprise architect) 2nd round with other architects on team
Must be willing to go on-site 4 days a week; Monday through Thursday

Pay Rate: $90 – $95/hr W2
Location: Coppell, TX (x4 days/week; Friday remote)

Job Overview:

This role will document and architect solutions for integrations with existing systems as well as design new microservices using industry best practices.
This will include handling new and existing integration with downstream systems, overall api spec design, new and existing system design, and networking design.
This role work closely with tech leads to make sure code meets design and tech requirements.

Responsibilities

-Work with product owners and BAs to come up with technical requirements for the high level business requirements
-Partner with other functions across IT & business to ensure collaboration, consistency and quality of solutions
-Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects
-Work with tech leads to ensure development team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards
-Identify gaps and risks, then define solutions to solve them.
-Provide mentoring on advanced development concepts and technical capabilities to more junior architects
-Provide continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advances

Required Qualifications

-10+ years of experience in analysis, design, implementation, development, and support of technology solutions on large initiatives
-Minimum 7 years of experience producing architecture deliverables such as technology designs, overviews, design patterns, technology roadmaps, and strategic technology blueprints within an architecture framework
-5+ years of experience with TIBCO, Apigee, Mulesoft, or other API management/Enterprise Service Bus technologies
-7+ years experience with Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Experience creating APIs from scratch
-Experience with integrating multiple systems and data mapping
-Demonstrated application of skills and knowledge across digital technologies (Cloud, Data, App Architecture (APIs, microservices, event streaming), and automation
-Experience securing and managing APIs
-Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
-Strong drive for self-learning and problem solving

-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience with server-less infrastructure and services
-Experience with data modeling Experience with common relational database technologies such as: Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server and NoSQL database technologies like MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis
-Experience with DevOps and CI/CD concepts, and build pipeline
